Wet Kit

At Home Sugaring Kit – perfect for yourself or as a gift! The Wet Kit includes 1 Sugar & Co. Home Sugaring Kit and 1 Merben Sisal Handheld Body Brush.

How should it be used?

SUGAR & CO. SUGARING HOME KIT:

  1.  Sugar and Co.® sugar paste can be gently warmed in the microwave or in a hot water bath.*WARNING* CAUTION HOT! Stir as there will be hot pockets in the jar after heating. It can burn the skin if too hot. Only start with 5 seconds increments as all microwave wattages are different.
  2. Begin with clean, dry skin.*AVOID any lotions, oils, perfumes before and after. Sugar is water-soluble; any moisturizer will affect the sugaring paste and will not adhere to your keratinized cells, which is what your skin and hairs are made of.
  3. Dust a small amount of cornstarch to the area you desire to sugar.
  4. Wash and dry your hands if possible and apply gloves.
  5. Using the spatula provided, spread a thin layer of sugaring paste in the natural direction of hair growth in the desired area three times, using slight pressure.
  6. Apply the washable strip and rub twice while holding the skin taut, remove strip at a 90-degree angle.
  7. You may re-use the same stripe to complete your sugaring area.
  8. You can reapply sugar to the same are 1-2 time to achieve the results you’re looking for.
  9. When the area is hairless, wash off with warm water to remove any stickiness.

  2. A few minutes a day of gentle exfoliating will help you to achieve smooth, radiant skin and promote cell renewal while also encouraging healthy circulation and eliminating toxins from the body. Use the sisal brush dry or enjoy it in the bath or shower.
  3. Apply decent pressure (not too soft, but not too hard!) – avoid “scrubbing”
  4. Brush in a circular movement, clock-wise, and always brush toward your heart, which is best for circulation and your lymphatic system.
  5. You can brush your entire body (including the soles of your feet). You can start at your armpits or feet, the choice is yours.
  6. Brushing sessions can be anywhere from a couple of minutes, up to 10 minutes.
  7. Don’t worry, it’s normal to be a little pink when you’re done.

What makes it work?

BODY BRUSH: Brushing the skin while it is dry allows you to exfoliate and increase blood circulation without taking away the moisture in the skin.

How should the Wet Brush be stored?

Always keep dry in the washroom or bedroom in a sunny area to prevent mildew. Make sure you gentely tap your brush after you have completed your brushing routine to clean your brush. You should also avoid sharing your brush with anyone. This can help prevent the risk for infection.

Why choose Dry Brushing?

Dry brushing may help your body release toxins. It may also help you relax. There’s little data to support the benefits of dry brushing, but for most people there’s also little harm in practicing dry brushing.

How often can it be applied?

WET BRUSH:
Adults and children at least 3 years of age: 1 times daily. Children under 3 years old, consult a physician.

Conditions that require dose adjustments include:
Elderly patients, very ill patients with circulation, Lymphatic system, varicose veins or heart conditions.

How do you remove sugar if you make a mistake and want to reapply?

Sugar, and Co.® sugaring paste is a 100 percent water-soluble; it can be removed with just warm water. When reapplying, make sure the skin is dry and not moisturized.

Can I re-use my sugar strips and spatula?

Strips can be washed with mild soap and warm water after sugaring – dry and spray with 70 percent alcohol spray. Your spatula can be re-used and cleaned as well using the same directions.

Is it safe to use sugar if you're Diabetic?

We recommend seeking a professional service to avoid any additional risks. Diabetics can be sugared, but there are many factors to be considered before the service. Also, consult a professional before trying a new treatment.

What areas of the body should I avoid?

We recommend avoiding enlarged varicose veins, new scars, sunburned skin, warts, bruises, skin tags, lesions, and raised moles.

Is sugaring paste edible?

Yes, but we do not recommend eating the paste. It's meant to remove your hair only.
