Full Pelvic & Groin Area Sugaring

Date

Here at lovely sugaring we love sharing the benefits of sugaring with people. Sugar is similar to waxing in that hair is pulled out by the root so the smooth skin results last longer than shaving. But while wax traditional can have toxic ingredients sugaring is 100% natural, non-comedogenic, and hypo-allergenic made with no added chemicals, fragrances, or dyes. Sugaring pasta is applied at body temperature instead of heated like wax is so the skin is less irritated and there’s no risk of burns. Sugaring is the easy way to have unwanted hair removed with lasting results and reduced hair growth long-term.

Choosing the right service for you can be a confusing decision. You want great results but maybe are slightly worried about the pain (especially if it’s your first time). A common question we get is “What is the difference between a full pelvic service and a groin area service?”. In this post we’ll explain the different services and the difference in pricing.

When there is more hair to remove and it takes more time the cost is higher, often for long-time clients their hair growth is reduced and so their cost is reduced. That’s why the Full Pelvic treatment is on our services menu twice. A Full Pelvic service includes hair being removed from the anus and inner labia or testicles. Hair can also be removed from pelvic area if the client prefers it.

For those new to sugaring services a full pelvic treatment takes roughly 45 minutes as there is more growth, this is for those new to hair removal services and those who only have services done before vacations who come in with roughly 8 weeks growth. Regular client’s Full Pelvic treatments take only 15-30 minutes as there is less growth due to consistent sugaring appointments and have approximately 4-6 weeks growth. The more consistent your hair removal services are the less regrowth you’ll have.

Our Groin Area service includes only the hair being removed from both sides and the anus between the abdomen and the thighs. This is similar to what other salons call a “bikini” service as it removes hair that wouldn’t be covered by a bikini bottom. This service is a good option for those who are uncomfortable with a Full Pelvic service.

If you’re nervous about trying sugaring we suggest starting with a Groin Area service. If you’re still not sure which service is right for you? Please reach out and speak with us to determine which service will best suit you.
